Carburetors
Due to petrol being left in the bike for so long, all things rubber became perished and very hard. This requiring every thing rubber to be replaced.
Striped down carbs, rust deposits in bowls, and gum from petrol blocking the jets and galleries. All moving butterflys and pistons dry requiring lub. General wash of carbs removal of everything clean compressor blow out before final assembly. Throttle cables appear to be OK but choke cable req replacing.

As the engine when running was under stress due to the carbs, it was decided to to an in depth full strip down. It was found that two mixture screws were locked solid and required easy outs to remove them.
Also the valve set air cuts were perforated allowing air through. Missing was the seals and washers on the secondary jets. A new kit was used to replace and bring up to full working std.

Mixture screw with easyout that broke requiring a nut to be welded onto it and screwed out.
As the intake rubber manifolds had become very had and inflexable making for a bad seal, they were also had to be replaced.
